Ian Lewis is an esteemed ITS technologist specialising in database information systems and business intelligence. He has been involved in a wide range of tolling system projects across Australia and New Zealand.

He is an expert in the principal design concepts that underpin ITS systems, the technologies used to implement them, and the operational drivers that ITS solutions must address in order to deliver cost effective outcomes for clients.

Ian spent a number of years in the research community before launching his information technology career. He has extensive experience and knowledge of the design and operation of Intelligent Transport Systems and especially Tolling Systems. This formed the basis of Ian’s move into independent consulting specialising in Intelligent Transport Systems.
